Tara Energy is proud to be a part of the second annual MIX 96.5 Radio Request-a-thon, benefiting Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Listen to MIX 96.5 on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m., when MIX 96.5 will dedicate 12 hours of airtime to raising funds in support of the hospital.
Listeners can hear the song of their choice by calling in their request and making a donation to Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital. Donate $25 to have a song played within the station’s normal format or $75 for any other song – so get creative! Jump to the front of the line and get your song on the air right away by making a $250 “Fast Track” request. And $1,000 gets you the "Triple Play" - your favorite three songs! Want to make your donation worth twice as much? Request your songs between 7:00 – 8:00 am and Tara Energy will match your contribution to Children’s Memorial Hermann.
Money raised through the Request-a-thon will support the development of a new Pediatric Respiratory Gym at the hospital. This innovative facility will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses, which affect many children in the Houston area.
